Program Overview
Students in grades four and five continue to expand and deepen their knowledge base while they mature into independent thinkers. All classrooms are equipped with the latest educational technology, enabling our teachers to deliver digital lessons. A rapidly expanding vocabulary and more abstract concepts are presented and applied. Science and Social Studies are departmentalized; the fourth-grade homeroom teacher teaches Science, and the fifth-grade homeroom teacher teaches Social Studies. The fifth-grade homeroom teacher works closely with junior high teachers to prepare students for their transition to sixth grade. |
