The kindergarten teacher will contact you to schedule a screening time for your child.  Additionally, please submit reports from any special services your child may have received, such as speech and language, occupational therapy, behavioral or psychological services, and any ETRs and IEPs that may accompany this information. Once the teacher has screened your child and considered additional documentation, you will be informed regarding the final admission decision.

First through Eighth Grade

If parents are interested in moving forward with the enrollment process, they will receive a form to sign authorizing us to conduct a screening for their child. St. Vincent Ferrer School may request the child's records from the previous school or speak with the previous school's staff regarding the student.

The following is a list of documents that are to be provided to the school at this time:
  1. A copy of the student’s most recent report cards.
  2. The student’s most recent standardized test results.
  3. If your child receives Tier II or Tier III support, in addition to typical classroom instruction, a copy of the most recent progress report.
  4. Copies of any speech and language, occupational therapy, psychological, and psychoeducational testing or reports.
  5. IEPs or ETRs, if this applies to your child.
  6. A Recommendation Form will be sent to your child's current school for completion by a current teacher or administrator.
